Paper sparks my imagination.  Transforming paper from nothing into beautiful and perhaps unexpected pages or objects never ceases to amaze me.  

I began making handmade books in 1980 and discovered artists’ books in 2005.  My explorations continue and include numerous workshops in bookmaking, calligraphy, suminagashi, marbling, mixed media, origami, drawing, and collage.  I currently make one-of-a-kind artists’ books and journals and joyfully teach the skills I've learned.  My wish is that the happiness I have in creating will translate into delight in others when they hold and use my books.
