“A Way with Journals: The Launch of the SIXTY BOOKS Project” : 12 Bone Folders’ Guild members each made 5 books for the “SIXTY BOOKS” project. One book went to each of the 60 branches of the Wisconsin South Central Library System. The books were circulated for a year. Patrons were encouraged to draw, paint, even tell a story in its pages. The SIXTY BOOKS were collected and were on display during the 2006 Book Festival. Some were then returned to their branch; some were placed in storage. “Flash Books” Live project at the meeting. Suzanne explained how we each would make a book in a given amount of time (2 hr meeting time) thus making a book in a “flash”, Members brought in magazine ephemera, made an original layout for a 1 page book 5.5” x 4.25”. We then photocopied, folded down into a book, with enough to exchange with participants at the next meeting

“Beginnings” Inaugural project for the 1st meeting of the Bone Folders’ Guild, held at Wisconsin Center forBook and Paper Arts, 811 Williamson Street, Madison, WI- book artists meet bringing an A-2 envelopes with the theme of “Beginnings”, enough to exchange with other participating members. After the exchange, the challenge was to bind the envelopes by the next meeting.
